About the role:
BROAD DESCRIPTION:
Post is responsible for the administration and organisation of all aspects of external and internal examinations in accordance with the regulations laid down by the awarding bodies.
Responsibility for others: The post has an impact on the well-being of individuals or groups (i.e. physical, mental, social, health and safety), through its contribution to school policy on the conduct of examinations.
Responsibility for staff: The post has direct responsibility for supervising a team of exam invigilators and may be expected to demonstrate tasks or advise/guide new employees, work experience or trainees.
Responsibility for financial resources: The post has limited (or no) direct
responsibility for financial resources. Responsible for ordering exam scripts under the approval of the Business Manager.
Responsibility for physical resources: The post has considerable direct
responsibility for physical resources, involving the careful, accurate, confidential and secure handling and processing of documents and information.
