The Governing Body wish to appoint a Teacher to work at Ysgol Hen Felin to complement our existing team.

Ysgol Hen Felin is a highly regarded, sector leading special school which caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties, Profound and Multiple learning difficulties, and pupils on the autistic spectrum.

Since spring 2025, the school has been situated over three sites. The main site is located at Ystrad Rhondda with satellite provisions based in Tonyrefail and the local college. You may be required to work across either site although we would look to deploy staff according to their skill set.

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint highly motivated and enthusiastic teachers who demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting pupils with a wide range of additional learning needs.

Applications are welcomed from teachers with experience in special or mainstream settings, as well as from newly qualified teachers.
