Job Title: Junior Business Development Consultant

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £21,426 - £23,327 per annum

Location: Cardiff and the Vale



Cardiff and Vale College are looking for a Junior Business Development Consultant based within our City Centre Campus but with the expectation to cover other campuses as and when needed.



The successful candidate for the post will be responsible for developing and handling relationships with customers remotely including:



- Inbound and outbound business client calls

- Providing sales proposals or information

- Direct Sales

- Setting and attending appointments with the Employer Solutions Team

- Collecting and inputting Account and Labour Market Information into the CRM system.



The successful applicant will be educated to a good standard with five GCSE’s (A* - C) including Maths and English. Previous experience of working within a high performance sales environment to targets is key to the role and the ability to deliver results through inbound and outbound sales calls being essential. Successful working knowledge and experience of business lead generation is important with the ideal candidate possessing excellent business communication skills in order to develop rapport with clients both over the phone and in person, and the ability to position the College’s value proposition effectively.
