Burlais Primary School: Full Time Teacher

Burlais Primary School is a successful and happy school serving the communities of Manselton and Cwmbwrla. The school has wonderful new-build facilities and is proud to be at the heart of the community. Our most recent Estyn inspection stated "Burlais Primary School is safe, secure and welcoming. A strong sense of pride, respect and purpose permeates the school and, as a result, most pupils are happy and attend school regularly. Across the school, pupils behave exceptionally well and engage with their learning enthusiastically."

The post holder will be required to teach any primary age range class.

This will be a temporary appointment until the 31 March 2027 in the first instance.

The post requires
  • Excellent classroom practitioners with a sound knowledge of how children learn;
  • Recent and relevant experience of teaching in the Primary Phase
  • Teachers who can lead by example, and develop new initiatives;
  • Good motivators, who can inspire, support and challenge pupils whilst working well as part of our team;

Applicants should, in addition, highlight other skills, expertise and previous teaching experience they could bring to the role. Your letter of application should be no more than two sides of A4.
