About the Role
Full-time

Temporary for 12 months

1st September 2026 until 31st August 2027

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed, and reflective Class Teacher to join our team, teaching pupils across Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 in English-medium setting within our bilingual school.

As part of a successful federation, we work closely across schools to share expertise, strengthen provision, and provide the very best opportunities for our learners. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to this collaborative approach.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential. You will also contribute to the wider life of the school and federation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom ethos
• Assess, track, and report on pupil progress effectively
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the federation
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community

Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience of teaching within Key Stage 2 (or strong placement experience)
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
• Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Welsh Language:
As a bilingual school, Welsh is an important part of our identity. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, and a willingness to develop Welsh language skills is essential.
