Join us as an ALN Digital Innovation Officer and help shape the future of inclusive education.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in modernising how Additional Learning Needs (ALN) services are delivered, by leading the integration of digital and AI‑enhanced approaches across IDP processes.

Working within the ALN team as part of the wider collaborative education service, you will combine strong ALN knowledge with innovative digital thinking to improve efficiency, accuracy, accessibility and consistency for learners, families and professionals. The role offers real scope to influence practice-supporting high‑quality, legally compliant IDPs, developing practical digital solutions, and building confidence across the workforce in the safe, ethical use of AI.

If you are motivated by improving outcomes for learners, enjoy problem‑solving, and want to be at the forefront of digital transformation within a statutory service, this role offers both challenge and purpose within a supportive local authority environment.

The position is for a fixed term of 12 months.
