Salary: £33,596 - £51,932 (Upper pay range points UP2 and UP3 are subject to evidence of previous progression to Upper Pay Spine)

Coleg Cambria is seeking passionate practitioners and educators to join our Health & Social Care team as a Lecturer. Whether you are an experienced teacher or a dedicated health and social care professional looking to transition into Further Education, we offer a supportive environment where your industry experience translates directly into student success.

About the Role

As a Lecturer, you will bridge real-world practice and academic study, guiding students through Level 2 & Level 3 qualifications. You will deliver practical and classroom-based sessions, mentor learners, and build partnerships with local healthcare employers. Key duties include:
  • Planning and delivering engaging learning materials, marking assessments, and tracking student progress.
  • Serving as a Personal Tutor to provide individual guidance, encouragement, and academic support.
  • Guiding students, delivering targeted coaching, and ensuring high quality standards.
  • Partnering with employers, sponsors, and internal teams to enrich course provision.

Essential Requirements
  • Qualified to at least Level 4 in a relevant specialist subject area
  • Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, C&G 7407)
  • Able to identify, interpret and apply specific knowledge to practice
  • Competent digital literacy skills.
  • Be able to develop and use a range of teaching and learning techniques
