Teaching Assistant Level 2 - Bro Helyg Site

Salary: Grade 3 £26,403 per annum, pro rata

The school is seeking TWO Level 2 Teaching Assistant to start on 1st of September 2026.

Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Helyg opened its doors to staff, pupils and parents on 3 September 2010. The school is located on an industrial estate between Nant-y-glo and Blaenau.

Ysgol Gymraeg Tredegar opened in November 2025 as a new seedling school linked to Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Helyg. The school is located on Chartists' Road, Tredegar.

The schools are friendly and family-oriented, with a dedicated staff who create a positive and caring ethos.

The Headteacher and Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed practitioner to join the team at Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Helyg.

During the recruitment process, thorough pre-employment screening will be undertaken. The successful candidate will be required to complete a DBS application.

This post requires a registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) under the category of Learning Support Assistant and registration will need to be in place prior to commencement in the role.
