Gorseinon Primary School is an English-medium primary school located in the community of Gorseinon, Swansea. We are a happy and friendly school where we value pupil voice, and we are committed to improving the life opportunities for the children in our care.

The Governing Body and pupils are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated class teacher, who will be able to work within the school team to further school improvement. The role is to cover PPA.

Temporary Teaching Post for 1 Year, Part time 2.5 days per week
Salary - MPS

Required from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027

The successful candidate will need to:

• Be an excellent classroom practitioner
• Possess high quality inter-personal skills
• Have a very good understanding of ALN
• Have a clear understanding of inclusion
• Be well organised and highly motivated
• Be innovative and make a major contribution to the development of the school
• An understanding of the new curriculum
• Be clear in your passion to give the children an education that is first class
• A teacher who values building positive relationship with pupils
