TEMPORARY TEACHING ASSISTANT (Level 3)

Blaengwawr Primary School is situated in the community of Aberaman in Aberdare and currently have 225 pupils on roll aged between 3 and 11. The school has strong links with the community and a supportive, pro-active governing body.
Our school motto is that ‘Every day is a good day to learn something new’ and this is an important motto for us as staff as well as pupils.
The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a committed, highly motivated, caring and enthusiastic person to join our staff team in the autumn term.
The successful candidate will work within the staff team to:-
- Support the Class Teacher and TA colleagues in creating an organised, engaging learning environment
- Be committed to working as a staff team to continue raising standards
- Support with pupil assessments
- Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff and governors
- Have high expectations of themselves and of children
- Work alongside the team to deliver interventions
- Be an excellent communicator
- Have experience of working with pupils with Additional Learning Needs
