Salary: £21,939 - £23,408 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience

Job Purpose -

The Agriculture and Agricultural Engineering department is located at Coleg Glynllifon. Students study full-time level 2 and 3 courses with the possibility of completing an apprenticeship with a suitable employer. Students enter the world of work by working for employers who offer Agricultural services eg. selling, maintaining machinery on farms or by contracting.

With guidance, the Practical Skills Supervisor will work to develop students' understanding and skills through planned practical activities. These tasks follow a scheme of work that develops during term time to establish students' competence so they meet the requirements of the course.

The department trains students in various aspects of agriculture mainly related to the local industry, Dairy cattle, beef cattle or sheep production. The Practical Skills Supervisor will work as part of an assessment team and be responsible for the assessment and grading process in the relevant areas

Holiday Entitlement

• 28 days leave per annum, rising to 32 days after 5 full holiday years' continuous service (01 September to 31 August).

• Part Time contracts will receive a pro rata entitlement to the above.
