Salary: Scale MG1 - UP1 (£33,596 - £48,288 pro rata)

Previous experience of teaching business would be an advantage, or alternatively recent and relevant industry experience within the business field.
A Level Lecturer in Business Studies

Salary Details: Scale MG1 - UP1 (£33,596 - £48,288 pro rata)

Opportunity to progress onto a further scale UP2-UP3 (£50,079 - £51,932 pro rata)

Hours of work: Typically 9.5 hours per week

Contract Type: Salaried - Fixed term until 31st December 2026

Qualifications:

• Qualified at Degree level or equivalent in the appropriate discipline and;
• PGCE qualification

Experience:

• A proven track record of teaching A Level (or equivalent) in Business Studies
• Experience of providing excellent pastoral support and implementing learner tracking and monitoring systems
• A good understanding of internal and external quality assurance processes
