About the roleContract: Welsh and Agricultural Teacher - Maternity cover; 0.6 fte contract, September 1st 2026 - October 9th 2026* (*subject to change, depending on end of maternity leave contract)
We are keen to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to teach lessons to pupils in KS3 and KS4 pupils through the medium of Welsh and bilingually. The successful candidate will teach and support pupils at Ysgol Gyfun Aberaeron.
The successful candidate will be able to create exciting and engaging learning opportunities across the ability range ensuring high standards of achievement, and the principles of Assessment for Learning will underpin the learning and teaching. They will also be able to develop positive relationships with students, staff and parents and make a contribution to the team ethos that is a strong feature of the school.
