The Governors of Ysgol Gelli Aur / Golden Grove School are looking to appoint an inspirational and highly effective teacher for September 2026. We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who has a passion for children's learning and strives for the highest of standards.
Working under the direction of the Head Teacher/ Deputy Head Teacher, you will be covering leadership release time, cover for part-time teachers and some PPA cover. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented practitioner who enjoys the variety of working across all primary age ranges and is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
We are looking for someone who:
- is a dynamic and adaptable teacher with the ability to teach across all primary phases
- has high expectations of both the learners and themselves
- has a high-quality teaching ability and recognise the importance of developing every child's potential
- has the ability to inspire and build on high standards of pastoral care
- has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a dedicated team
- can use their initiative and work collaboratively within a team
- has the ability to confidently teach Welsh as a Second Language.
