An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Cwm Clydach Primary School, a thriving and supportive school community in the village of Clydach Vale.
Cwm Clydach Primary School is a happy, successful school with a strong, caring and inclusive ethos. We currently have 187 pupils on roll across 7 classes, including a Local Authority Nurture Provision class and a full-time Nursery. Our school is firmly rooted in the community and committed to providing high-quality learning experiences for all.
The Headteacher and Governing Body are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant (Level 3) who is ready to become an integral part of our school community.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our nurturing, supportive and friendly team, working closely with teachers to support the delivery of our engaging Curriculum @ Cwm and ensure the best possible outcomes for all pupils.
We are seeking an inspiring and skilled Teaching Assistant, ideally with experience in the Foundation Phase, who will:
- Support high-quality teaching and learning in the classroom and through targeted interventions
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of child development and effective support strategies
- Help create a nurturing, inclusive and ambitious learning environment, both indoors and outdoors
- Work closely with the class teacher to support planning, assessment and pupil progress
- Provide effective support for pupils’ wellbeing, engagement and independence
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, parents and the wider community
