About the RoleAbout The Role:
We are seeking a caring, committed, and enthusiastic ALN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive primary school team. You will play a key role in supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) to access learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential in an inclusive environment.
About The Role:
Support the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities for pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
Provide 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils engage with the curriculum and reach their individual targets.
To have experience in delivering Direct Phonics, PAT and Fizzy Training Games programme.
Assist in the implementation of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and targeted intervention programmes.
Deliver structured interventions in both one-to-one and group situations to support learning and development.
Adapt resources and learning activities to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development, promoting confidence and independence.
Assist pupils with communication needs, including the use of visual supports and alternative communication strategies.
Work with children with Speech and Language needs and support programmes guided by Occupational Therapy (OT).
Follow and implement advice and strategies from specialist professionals, such as Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists.
Help develop pupils' sensory, motor, and communication skills through targeted support.
Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to the class teacher and ALNCo.
Uphold school policies, including safeguarding, confidentiality, and equality.
