We are seeking to recruit an hourly paid Skills lecturer who is familiar with the Essential Skills Wales (ESW) suite of qualifications which include Essential communication skills, Essential application of number skills and Essential digital literacy skills. Applications are also welcomed from lecturers who are experienced in delivering Functional skills and/or GCSE.
In order to be considered for this role, you must have proven experience and competence within English, Maths or digital literacy skills lecturing and hold the relevant teaching qualifications
As a Lecturer at Coleg Cambria you will be required to deliver both practical and classroom based learning to our students. You will also be responsible for enrolling students on appropriate courses and provide coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities as well as ensuring the safety and welfare of our students at all times.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential Requirements
Qualified to at least Level 3 in a relevant specialist subject area
Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, C&G 7407)
Able to identify, interpret and apply specific knowledge to practice
Competent digital literacy skills.
Be able to develop and use a range of teaching and learning techniques
Awareness of the importance of quality standards within teaching
Demonstrate an understanding of current developments within your own specialist area and ways of keeping up to date with such developments
Knowledge of the broad range of learning needs and how to support these needs within a learning environment
