Shape the future childcare workforce across Cardiff and the Vale.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and learner-focused Lecturer in Childcare & Education to deliver high-quality teaching across Entry to Level 4 programmes. You will support learners to succeed, progress and develop the skills needed for careers in the childcare sector.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging teaching and assessment
  • Support learner progress and wellbeing
  • Plan, assess and track performance
  • Contribute to curriculum development
  • Support recruitment and employer engagement

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Inspiring learners through inclusive, industry-relevant teaching
  • Preparing learners for careers in childcare
  • Monitoring progress and supporting achievement
  • Delivering across College sites and community venues
  • Working collaboratively within a supportive team

What We're Looking For:

  • Relevant degree/HND and teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching in FE and/or across levels
  • Childcare sector experience
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • A proactive, learner-centred approach
