The Governing Body wish to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and skilled Temporary Teaching Assistant (Level 4) to work at Coed-Y-Lan Primary to join our dedicated and supportive team.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences for all pupils. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of planned PPA provision across the school, ensuring continuity and progression in learning in the absence of the class teacher. This will involve planning and delivering engaging, creative and inclusive lessons across a range of curriculum areas, including forest school.
In addition, the post holder will support learning across the school, including delivering targeted interventions, supporting assessment processes and contributing to pupils’ wellbeing, behaviour and inclusion.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
- HLTA status
- Forest school or outdoor learning training or qualification, and a love of the outdoors
- Experience of working across the primary age range
- The ability to plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality learning experiences independently
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Initiative, adaptability and a proactive approach to supporting learning
- The ability to meet the needs of all learners, including those with ALN and MAT
- A secure understanding of curriculum delivery and assessment for learning
- A commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and high expectations for all pupils
