Assistant Fowards Rugby Coach (FTC March 2027)

The Role

We are seeking a passionate Assistant Forwards Rugby Coach to support the delivery of our rugby performance programme, working upto 9 hours per week (minimum of 345 hours per year).

Working closely with the Head of Rugby, you will contribute to the planning and coaching of sessions, supporting the development of forwards and unit skills, and enhancing the overall performance environment for student athletes. You will also play a key role in fostering a positive, player-focused culture both on and off the field.

About You

You will hold a recognised rugby coaching qualification (Level 1 or above) and have experience supporting player development within a team environment.

You will bring strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to motivate and work effectively with student athletes. A good understanding of performance sport environments and a commitment to continuous professional development are essential.

Flexibility is required, as the role involves evenings, weekends and travel.
