An exciting opportunity has arisen at 'Hafod Rainbows' Flying Start. Flying Start is a Welsh Government initiative that is offered to children and families across Swansea, 40 weeks a year's. Flying Start offers children access to high quality childcare as part of a multi-agency team approach as well as their families.

We thrive to improve outcomes for children in our care, in preparation for school and the long term.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Childcare Worker to join our team, as well as supporting the Flying Start Manager and Senior in providing high quality childcare in our setting. You will need relevant qualifications, high standard literacy skills and prior experience of delivering childcare provision to children under the age of 3.

You will need to work effectively as part of a team as well as using your own initiative, and demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for supporting children and their families.

these include;
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development (Wales and Northern Ireland) QCF;
  • CACHE Extended Diploma in Children's Care Learning and Development; Open University Certificate of Higher Education (Cert HE)(FHEQ Level 4) in Early Years Professional Practice
  • EDEXCEL BTEC Level 3 National Certificate/Diploma;
  • Children's Care, Learning and Development (CCLD)
