We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated and values-driven professional to join our Inclusion Team. The Equity and Inclusion Officer is a new operational role, working in partnership with schools, settings and multi-agency colleagues to promote and embed
inclusive, equitable and high-quality educational practices across Monmouthshire.
You will provide direct support to schools and settings to ensure a coherent, consistent and preventative approach to understanding and managing behaviour, promoting wellbeing and inclusion, to ensure that all children and young people-particularly the most vulnerable-can access and succeed in education within their local community.
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with schools and partners to support the reduction of exclusion, strengthen inclusive practice, and build capacity across the education system.

SALARY - IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Salary would be pro rata if not working full time hours or 52 weeks per year.
i.e. 37 hours per week / 32.5 per week for School Teachers
Temporary End Date (if applicable):
Location: County Hall (Rhadyr - Usk), NP15 1GA, United Kingdom. This may change in the future if the service location needs to relocate. Relocation or disturbance expenses will not be paid if this happens.
Term Time Only - Weeks per Year (if applicable):
