Salary: £4,260

About the Role

At Ysgol Cae'r Gwenyn, we pride ourselves on creating a safe, happy, and inclusive environment where children can thrive. Lunchtime is a vital part of the school day and we are looking for an enthusiastic, caring individual to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a role that fits perfectly around family life and school hours.

As Senior Midday Supervisory Assistant in addition to general midday assistant duties- supporting the safety, well-being and happiness of our children during their midday break, you will also be responsible for the daily collection of meals from a nearby kitchen.

We are looking for someone who has a patient and calm approach when working with children. Who is a strong team player, who is flexible and reliable and has an understanding of child safety and safeguarding principles. Experience of working with young children is desirable but not essential.

The Council welcomes applications from suitably qualified candidates regardless of race, gender, disability, sexuality, religious belief or age.

The Council is committed to developing its bilingual workforce and welcomes applications from candidates who demonstrate their capability to work in both English and Welsh. Applications submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than an application submitted in English.
