Role Title: Exams Administrator

Location: Deeside

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £26,582 - £27,120

Coleg Cambria is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Exams Administrator to join our team at the Deeside site. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of the Exams Department, ensuring compliance with examination board procedures and enhancing the quality of our data and services. Key responsibilities include managing learner registrations, examination entries, and claims to meet the needs of students and exam boards. You will also assist with the conduct and invigilation of exams, maintaining the security of examination materials to ensure full compliance with regulations.

The successful candidate will maintain effective relationships with designated examination boards, ensuring adherence to their administrative procedures. You will be responsible for disseminating information to staff and students about examination procedures and regulations, and maintaining accurate records of examination entries, timetables, attendance, results, and achievement data using electronic systems. Additionally, you will assist in collating results and other relevant information for various stakeholders, including managers, employers, and college departments.

We are looking for someone who can support learners and other stakeholders professionally and approachably, both face-to-face and through various communication methods. A basic knowledge of GDPR is essential to ensure all data processing and sharing is compliant. If you are organised, proactive, and committed to providing excellent service, we would love to hear from you.

Essential Requirements
  • Level 2 English and Maths qualifications (or equivalent) at Grade 4 (C) or above
  • NVQ Level 2 Business Administration or equivalent
  • Recent administrative experience in a busy office environment
  • Accurate data entry into a Management Information System

Welsh skills are desirable for this specific post. We are seeking candidates who can help us grow our bilingual provision and service.
