Grade 4 - £25,989 for 23 hours per week for 45.8 weeks per annum equating to £14,790.91 pro rata.
Narberth C.P. School is a happy, caring and inclusive dual-stream primary school where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and supportive environment. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team.
The successful candidate will work in our Welsh-medium class, supporting pupils' learning within Progression Step 3. They will work closely with the class teacher to provide high-quality learning support, helping pupils to access the curriculum, develop independence and thrive both academically and socially.
The role will also involve supporting pupils with medical needs, therefore confidence in following healthcare plans and working closely with school staff and families is essential. Appropriate training will be provided where required.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is committed to supporting children to achieve their very best.
- Has experience of working with primary-aged children in a school or similar setting.
- Can communicate effectively and work positively as part of a team.
- Is caring, patient, flexible and able to build positive relationships with children.
- Is confident supporting pupils' learning within the classroom.
- Is willing to support pupils with medical and toileting needs and undertake any necessary training.
- Has experience of supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) (desirable).
- Has the ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh or is confident working within a Welsh-medium classroom (essential for this post).
