Salary: GBP 25,155.00 - 25,583.00 per year

This role will involve providing support for pupils with Additional Learning Needs in a very supportive and inclusive mainstream school. This will be a temporary appointment, in the first instance, to the specialist teaching provision for children with ASD.

Current salary: £25,155.00 to £25,583.00 Pro rata, Grade 4 Scp 5-6. Subject to term time only adjustment if appointment date is after the start of the academic year.

The Headteacher and Governors at Dunvant Primary School are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant for 30 hours a week.

The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, motivated individuals, passionate about supporting children with Additional Learning Needs
  • be committed to inclusive education for all pupils
  • have very good communication skills with both adults and children
  • have the relevant qualifications and experience in a school setting.

The successful candidates will be able to :-
  • work with the class teacher to appropriately support pupils with additional learning needs.
  • implement programmes under the guidance and direction of professionals.
  • work as part of our staff team to deliver effective person centred provision.
