Curriculum Area Manager - Skills (x4)
Job description
37 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the delivery of English, Mathematics and Skills at campus level, while also taking on cross-college responsibility for a subject area aligned to your specialist expertise. The successful candidate will be expected to drive improvements in teaching, learning, assessment, attendance, attainment and progression, using learner data and quality assurance processes to inform decision-making and continuous improvement. As the cross-college lead for their specialist subject area, they will support consistency in curriculum delivery, quality assurance, standardisation and moderation across campuses. They will also play a key role in embedding literacy, numeracy, digital skills and Welsh language development across teaching and learning, while working closely with curriculum, ALN and support teams to ensure learners are well supported and able to achieve their full potential.

The ability to use the Welsh language at a basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.
