We wish to appoint a dynamic and motivated person to help young people with additional learning needs transition into an FE setting and to provide opportunities to review their support through the use of person-centred practice.

Applicants should have previous experience of attending annual reviews, writing IDPs and have arranged transition visits for young people

The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the ALSCos and ALN administrators as well as campus teams to ensure the learners are given every opportunity to help them meet their full potential.

The ability to use the Welsh language at a basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.

Requirements & Compliance

• Safeguarding: Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and EWC registration (costs covered by the candidate).
• Qualifications: Lecturers must hold or be willing to achieve a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) within a set period.
