Are you passionate about empowering young people and creating opportunities that help them thrive? Do you have the energy, creativity and commitment to engage young people, build strong partnerships and support positive outcomes across communities?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Development Officer to join our Youth, Engagement and Belonging Service.
As a Youth, Engagement and Development Officer, you will play a key role in developing and delivering high-quality opportunities for children and young people. Working directly with children, young people, families, schools, community groups and partner organisations, you will support initiatives that encourage participation, build confidence and strengthen a sense of belonging.
You will help design and deliver engaging programmes, support youth voice and participation, develop partnerships, and ensure that children and young people have opportunities to influence decisions that affect their lives.
We are seeking someone who:
- Has experience of developing service delivery
- Can engage and inspire young people from diverse backgrounds.
- Possesses excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Is creative, organised and able to manage a varied workload.
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and promoting wellbeing.
- Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Is committed to inclusion, participation and empowering young people.
- Has strong data capturing skills.
