The Role: Curriculum Development Coordinator
The role of Curriculum Development Coordinator is a diverse role that supports the development and implementation of adult community learning provision. This is a hands-on role and includes all aspects of planning, organising and resource allocation and development. You will be key in assisting the Regional Manager in ensuring that all learning activities meet the agreed provision, finance and quality targets.
Wellbeing for Duffryn project – Fixed term until 28th February 2027
This project will facilitate a series of courses and workshops to support mental health, wellbeing and develop confidence in Duffryn, Newport. Course and workshop subjects will focus on creative and outdoor activities, confidence building and wellbeing, through a health and wellbeing pathway. This could lead to volunteering, employment or further education opportunities. The project will aim to engage Duffryn residents who are not currently accessing learning opportunities. The role of the CDC in this project will be to liaise with community groups and services in Duffryn to reach new learners, increasing engagement. To support with scheduling and ensuring the delivery of a minimum of 4 accredited courses, 4 non-accredited courses and 20 workshops. These will be around – confidence building, resilience skills, art for wellbeing, wellbeing and nature.
Contract: Fixed Term until 28th February 2027
Hours: Part Time, 14 hours per week (working pattern to be discussed and agreed with line manager)
Work base: Cardiff, with regular travel to and within Duffryn area (Agile Working can be considered)
Blaenau Gwent Digital and Creative Project – Fixed term 31st March 2027
The Blaenau Gwent Digital and Creative Project is a collaborative initiative aimed at enhancing the skills and employability of local residents in digital and create fields. The project aims to help people build skills, access meaningful employment opportunities, and contribute to stronger local economies and communities. The project focuses on addressing local skills gaps in these areas and aims to support inclusive economic growth. The project is part of a broader effort to develop an exciting Blueprint for Growth, ‘Thriving Together’.
Contract: Fixed Term for 7 months
Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week
Work base: Cardiff, with regular travel to and within Blaenau Gwent area (Agile Working can be considered)
