Come and join our team

We are seeking to appoint a highly organised, motivated and committed ALN Administration Manager to join our thriving school family and play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of Additional Learning Needs (ALN) provision across the school.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting young people and who can work effectively as part of a dedicated and supportive ALN team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the administration and organisation of statutory ALN processes for mainstream pupils, ensuring that support is delivered efficiently and effectively.

Working closely with the ALNCo, Teachers, Teaching Assistants and wider ALN support team, the postholder will contribute to the planning, development and monitoring of ALN services across the school. The role will also involve supporting the management, coordination and delegation of activities undertaken by support staff.

Carmarthen, a vibrant market town nestled on the edge of the picturesque Towy Valley, just 30 minutes from Swansea, is home to a pioneering comprehensive school that embodies the spirit of 'Caring, Learning, Leading'.

Our school is committed to creating a supportive and ambitious environment where every young person has the opportunity to thrive. We value collaboration, high expectations and a strong culture of care, and our ALN provision plays an important role in ensuring that all learners are supported to achieve their full potential.

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, flexible and able to work collaboratively, with excellent communication and administrative skills and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference to the lives of our young people.

If you are enthusiastic about working in a busy and rewarding school environment and would like to contribute to the continued development of our ALN provision, we would be delighted to hear from you.
