Ysgol Bro Penfro is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and reliable Breakfast Club Supervisor to join our dedicated team.The successful candidate will play an important role in providing a safe, welcoming and enjoyable start to the school day for our pupils.
Grade 2 - £26,016.00 for 5 hours per week term time only for 44.8 weeks per annum equating to £3,020.76 pro rata rising to 45.8 weeks, £3,088.18 pro rata per annum after 5 years' service.
As Breakfast Club Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising pupils attending the Breakfast Club and ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Creating a warm, friendly and positive environment for children.
- Supporting pupils during breakfast and encouraging good manners and healthy eating habits.
- Organising and supervising appropriate activities and play.
- Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a calm and respectful atmosphere.
- Ensuring the Breakfast Club area is clean, tidy and ready for the school day.
- Working positively and effectively with school staff, pupils and parents/carers.
- Following the school's safeguarding, health and safety and other relevant policies and procedures.
- Caring, friendly and approachable.
- Reliable, responsible and well organised.
- Able to communicate effectively with children and adults.
- Patient and able to work calmly in a busy school environment.
- Committed to promoting the wellbeing and development of all pupils.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experienced in working with children is desirable, although full training and support will be provided.
