About the role

As a Parenting Support Worker, you will:
  • Provide tailored parenting support and early intervention services.
  • Work directly with families to overcome barriers to education and engagement.

  • Manage referrals, maintain records and contribute to positive outcomes for children and families.
About you

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Welsh language skills and knowledge of Wales Safeguarding Procedures and Social Care Wales Codes of Practice would be advantageous.
If you are committed to helping families thrive and making a positive difference in your community, we would love to hear from you.

What you'll bring

You will be empathetic, resilient and motivated by helping families achieve positive change. You will be confident working with families facing complex challenges and skilled at building trusting relationships that support lasting improvement.

Working arrangements

This is a varied role involving:
  • Office- and community-based working.
  • Home visits and lone working where appropriate.
  • Attendance at meetings with partner agencies.
  • Delivery of parenting programmes and support sessions both face-to-face and online.
Why join us?

This is an opportunity to be part of a team committed to improving outcomes for children, young people and families across Pembrokeshire. Through early intervention, partnership working and family-centred support, you will help make a lasting difference in the lives of local families.

Apply today and help build stronger families and brighter futures.
