The Governors, staff, pupils and families of Clwyd Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspirational Deputy Headteacher who combines excellent teaching and leadership with warmth, empathy and a genuine commitment to people. We are looking for a highly effective leader with experience of leading large teams, who values community partnerships and has the patience, compassion and integrity to support all members of our school community to flourish.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a proven track record of securing high standards in teaching and learning.

• Demonstrate strong leadership skills and experience of successfully leading and developing a large team.

• Be an approachable and effective people leader who builds positive relationships and earns the trust and respect of pupils, staff, parents and governors.

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Be committed to maintaining high standards and driving continuous school improvement.

• Demonstrate empathy, patience and compassion when supporting pupils, staff and families.

• Be passionate about developing meaningful partnerships with parents, carers and community organisations.
