Business Manager - Primary Schools Cluster

Hours: 37 hours a week, term time and 5 training days

Salary: NJC G06 point 20 - 25, £28,975 - £32,323 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a distinctive role working across the seven primary schools within the Ysgol Aberconwy cluster: Ysgol Awel y Mynydd, Ysgol Deganwy, Ysgol Capelulo, Ysgol Porth y Felin, Ysgol Pencae, Ysgol Babanod Llanfairfechan and Ysgol Pant y Rhedyn.

The main purpose of the Primary Cluster School Business Manager is to release Headteachers from a range of higher-level administrative and organisational responsibilities through the development and implementation of effective systems, strategies and best practice. This will enable Headteachers to focus more fully on their core responsibilities for teaching and learning, school improvement, raising standards and improving outcomes for pupils.

The Primary Cluster School Business Manager will work closely with Headteachers across the seven schools and provide support in key areas including:

• Human Resource

• Health and Safety
• School Policies and Procedures
• Finance
• Data

Due to the nature of the post the successful candidate will be subject

to a disclosure by the Disclosure and Barring Service. The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is desirable for this post.
