Role Title: Instructor Demonstrator Aero Engineering

Are you a skilled Aero Engineer who is keen to share their practical expertise and skills with our students? If that is the case, Coleg Cambria are looking for an Instructor Demonstrator to be based at our site at Deeside.
As an Instructor Demonstrator, you will be responsible for delivering practical sessions primarily in Aero Engineering to our students in Coleg Cambria’s state of the art Institute of Technology. You will be responsible for preparing a schedule of practical activities from information provided by Curriculum Directors and Lecturers as well as providing assistance in monitoring the progress of students. The Instructor Demonstrator also assists in assessing competence and progress of students in practical activities. You will be responsible for setting up and pro-actively maintaining working environments and specialised equipment to enable delivery to our learners. You will also be required to complete up to date records, assisting with student reviews and as well as producing course results.
We are looking for someone with recent industry experience in Aero engineering , ideally with experience of delivering practical or workshop training. You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of current developments within your own specialist area. As an Instructor Demonstrator you will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to create a caring and supportive environment for our students.
Essential Requirements
Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent in a relevant subject area
Recent industry experience in a relevant specialist area.
Demonstrate an understanding of current developments within your own specialist area and ways of keeping up to date with such developments.
Self confident and displays energy and enthusiasm in the learning environment
Able to establish effective working relationships and is a strong team player
