Salary: GBP 26,427.00 per year;GBP 26,847.00 per year

POST TITLE: School Premises Staff - Caretaker, Level 2

SALARY/GRADE: 4 (SCP 5 - 6)- £26,427 - £26,847 (pro-rata)

Closing date: Monday 2 November 2026 at 12.00 PM

Interviews: Thursday 5 November 2026.

Contract: Permanent 10 hours a week plus some additional hours as required. 42-week contract.

Start Date: 16 November 2026 or as soon as possible.

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a responsible and reliable person to join our dedicated and successful staff team.

You will need to be:

• Flexible, as working hours will involve a mixture of mornings, afternoons and school holidays

• Responsible for key holder duties (very rarely)

• Aware of and respond to Health and Safety issues

• Able to assist in maintaining and improving the appearance of our school building and outdoor environment

• Able to use DIY skills

• Enthusiastic and self-motivated and use own initiative to deal with issues as they arise

• Approachable and professional

• Willing to undertaken training where necessary
