This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Tutor/Assessor with a health and social care background to join our highly successful and professional team, operating within GCS Training, the commercial branch of the College.

Working as part of a team of professional trainers and assessors you will assess, coach and train learners within the working environment in all aspects of Health & Social Care on qualifications and taught courses.

You will work with employers to diagnose and support training solutions to meet the needs of the organisation and assist Assessors and Internal Verifiers in ensuring that all requirements of the External Verifier and awarding bodies are met.

With a professional approach you will have current knowledge of the Health & Social Care sector and be occupationally competent to deliver and assess up to Level 3.

You will possess an NVQ/QCF Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, and ideally hold the A1 Assessor/V1 Internal Verifiers award (TAQA) or be willing to work towards. Level 2 (Grade A-C) or equivalent Maths and English qualification is essential for this post.

With attention to detail you will be target driven with a strong focus on quality.

You will be required to support work-based learners accessing a wide geographical area.

This post has been deemed Welsh Essential at Level 1 (see Welsh Language Level Descriptors attached to job description) however we would also be interested in candidates who are not at this level but would be willing to work towards it.
