The Governing Body of The Rofft School is seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and highly motivated Teacher for our Resourced Provision. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is passionate about supporting children with additional learning needs and helping them to achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, personalised teaching and learning for pupils with a range of additional learning needs through a highly differentiated curriculum. Working closely with teaching assistants, mainstream colleagues, parents and external agencies, they will provide tailored support that enables pupils to access learning, develop their skills, build confidence and become increasingly independent. The role will include monitoring and assessing pupil progress, coordinating Individual Development Plans and Annual Reviews, and supporting successful integration into mainstream classes where appropriate.
Our Resourced Provision provides a nurturing, inclusive and supportive environment where pupils are valued as individuals and learning is adapted to meet their specific needs. We are looking for someone who is committed to creating positive learning experiences, fostering strong and trusting relationships with pupils and their families, and promoting an ethos of inclusion throughout the school community.
The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all learners, a strong understanding of Additional Learning Needs, and the ability to lead and work collaboratively with a team of support staff. They will play a key role in further developing our specialist provision and ensuring that every child is equipped with the skills, confidence and support needed to thrive both academically and socially.
This post offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting difference to the lives of children and families whilst joining a dedicated, forward-thinking and supportive school team.
In return, we can offer:
• A welcoming, caring and inclusive school community where every child is valued and supported to succeed.
• A dedicated and experienced team of staff who are committed to achieving the very best outcomes for pupils with additional learning needs.
• The opportunity to work within a well-established and nurturing Resourced Provision, making a genuine difference to the lives of children and their families.
• Friendly, enthusiastic pupils who enjoy learning and take pride in their achievements.
• A strong culture of collaboration, support and teamwork across the school.
• High-quality professional learning and development opportunities, including those linked to additional learning needs and inclusive practice.
• A forward-thinking school committed to continuous improvement and innovation.
The successful candidate will be expected to fully support the vision, values and inclusive ethos of The Rofft School and play an active role in the continued development of our Resourced Provision and wider school community. They will share our commitment to ensuring that every child is given the opportunity, support and encouragement needed to reach their full potential.
