Role Title: Transitions Officer

Location: Northop

Contract Type: Permanent - Part Time (22.2 hours per week - 3 days per week)

Salary: £23,590 - £25,821 As this role is part time this salary will be prorata based on a salary assessment and experience



Coleg Cambria are now looking for a Transitions Officer to join the team based at Northop. You will be responsible for implementing the Coleg Cambria Gateway to Employment’ Project for young people with Additional Learning Needs.

Your aim will be to enhance learners’ progression and increase employment and community inclusion outcomes for learners with ALN. Working as part of a team, you will develop professional relationships with employers and other key stakeholders whilst observing and promoting students’ choice, independence, dignity, privacy and other rights.

We’re looking for an individual who has a genuine desire and the interpersonal skills necessary to inspire others and implement plans with enthusiasm. You should have experience of working with young people with Additional Learning Needs and be comfortable creating and developing effective working relationships with employers.

Experienced in managing a busy workload using your own initiative

Knowledge and experience of Additional Learning Needs

Previous experience of using systems to track, monitor and record learner information.
