We have an exciting opportunity to join our passionate Performing Arts team at Bridgend College as an Hourly Paid Lecturer in Acting. If you are a creative, enthusiastic practitioner, with a proven ability to teach and mentor students, who loves bringing theatre to life, this role will let you share your industry knowledge and help our talented students build the confidence and skills they need for a successful career in the performing arts.

We are looking for someone with practical, professional experience who feels right at home directing productions, leading projects, and training actors on skills such as voice, movement, and character development. You will need to demonstrate confidence in teaching a diverse range of acting techniques and practitioners, such as Stanislavski, Brecht, and Strasberg, and contextualising the history and evolution of theatre for Level 2 and 3 learners. Ideally, you will hold a degree in Acting or Drama and a teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one), with experience of the UAL awarding body being highly desirable.
