Temporary Part Time Childcare Worker

Salary: Grade 5 SCP 7-9 (£27,274 - £28,153 pro rata) (subject to term time adjustment if starting outside of the start of the academic year)

The post will be funded until 31 st March 2028

5 x afternoons, 18 hrs a week 40 weeks a year

We are pleased to invite applications from motivated, committed and enthusiastic candidates for the role of Flying Start Childcare Worker within St. Helen's Flying Start.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality early years care and who is looking to join a highly successful team. The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering nurturing, developmentally rich childcare for children aged 2-3, helping to create a safe, engaging and supportive environment for all children in our setting.

Applicants will need a recognised childcare qualification suitable for Flying Start. More information on suitable qualifications can be found here: Flying Start | Social Care Wales

Other requirements include strong literacy skills and previous experience of delivering childcare provision to children aged 2-3. You will also need to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for supporting children and their families as part of Flying Start and our community-focused school.
