About the Role
Acton Park Primary has a full time fixed term post required to cover a maternity leave within our Year 2/3 class; to commence from 1st January 2027 until the 31st August 2027 in the first instance.

The Governing Body of Acton Park Primary wish to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and inspiring classroom practitioner for the above post. Acton Park Primary is a caring and dedicated school, which secures high standards for pupils' learning and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will:
• Believe in a holistic approach to teaching and learning where the well-being of pupils is at the core of your practice.
• Demonstrate high expectations and an understanding of the diverse range of children's learning and behavioural needs.
• Awareness of new initiatives within teaching such as the Curriculum for Wales and Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Reform.
• Strong pedagogy and an ability to create a purposeful, and interesting learning environment.
• Be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to work within the phase and school team, effectively manage and support teaching assistants and communicate well with parents/guardians.
• Be confident and creative in the use of digital technology.
• Be willing to take an active part in the wider life of the school.
