ICT Administrator
Our successful business is seeking a ICT Administrator to assist the IT Department to manage and support the systems and networks across all company sites from desktops to servers
Salary Banding: £18,018
Location: Itec House, Cardiff
Contract type: Full time, Permanent
Working hours: Monday – Friday 9.00am – 4.30pm
What are the core responsibilities of this role?
• Responsible for supporting the IT department in providing ICT support to all staff and customers via e-mail, telephone and in person working to agreed service levels.
• Responsible for the administration of the businesses ICT asset register in amending stock and allocation records for staff, centres and subcontractors to ensure accurate recording of change across the business.
• Responsible for assisting with user management duties including the new starter, leaver and change processes.
• Responsible for basic configuration and maintenance of ICT assets (laptops, tablets, workstations, mobile phones) across the business including allocated subcontractor equipment.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Responsible for complying with policies and procedures relating to health and safety, copyright laws, security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting any concerns to the appropriate person.
• Responsible for contributing to the overall aims and objectives of the business
What skills and experience are we looking for from potential applicants?
Essential
• GCSE or equivalent in literacy and numeracy
• Knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems and desktop applications
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner
Desirable
• Experience of using helpdesk applications.
• MS 365 Administration.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
This role is subject to a DBS check. The cost of the DBS check will be met by the company.
