Hours – 28 Hours per week – Term Time Only

Blaengwawr Primary School is situated in the community of Aberaman in Aberdare. We currently have 228 pupils on roll aged between 3 and 11

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a committed, highly motivated, caring and enthusiastic person to work in our school (currently in the Foundation Phase) as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant.

The post is temporary for one year in the first instance.

The successful candidate will work with the class teacher to:-
• Create an organised, engaging learning environment
• Be committed to raising standards
• Assess the children and develop appropriate well-planned activities
• Have high expectations of themselves and of children
• Deliver interventions
• Be an excellent communicator
• Have experience of working with pupils with Additional Learning Needs
