Teacher of Learning Support Class (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) based at Porth Community School

Teacher Pay Scale plus SEN 1 Allowance

Rhondda Cynon Taf Access and Inclusion Service is seeking to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced teacher for the Learning Support Class for pupils with communication disorder based at Porth Community School from January 2023.

The class will support approximately 10 students from Years 3-6 and will be staffed by a teacher and two Learning Support Assistants.

Ideally, successful applicants will have experience of working with pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and will have undertaken relevant specialist professional development. A successful candidate without specialist training will be expected to complete appropriate specialist training.
