The Governing Body of Tonysguboriau Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant (Level 4) who will lead and develop our nursery class. They should have a sound understanding of foundation phase principles and have a commitment to helping every child reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will;

• Provide high quality provision inside and outside of the classroom where pupils feel safe, are happy and thrive.
• Plan, prepare and deliver high quality learning activities for the pupils.
• Monitor pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress and development.
• Work effectively with others, are approachable, adaptable and have good communication skills.
• Manage teaching assistants effectively.
• Work closely with parents and the wider community, conducting parent workshops, meetings and reports.

The governors will provide effective support for the successful candidate who will demonstrate a strong commitment to work closely with them to provide the best possible education for children. We aim to provide excellent learning opportunities for children, teachers and staff.
