We currently have a vacancy for an Employer Engagement Specialist (Agriculture/Animal Care/Land Based and Food Manufacturing) to join our Employer Engagement team based in Deeside. 

The team are responsible for providing excellent links for Coleg Cambria learners with local employers. This includes work placements, apprenticeship opportunities and employability events. As an Employer Engagement Specialist you will be responsible for generating new leads and repeat business on a regular basis with both new and existing clients. It will also be your responsibility to maximise any opportunities presented to you and work to achieve individual, team and organisational targets. You will have an excellent knowledge of external funding frameworks including Welsh and English 



Essential Requirements

Minimum of level 3 qualification (A Level or Equivalent)

Ability to travel to employers across North Wales and North West

Must be able to demonstrate strong negotiation skills

Significant experience of business development 

Experience of client relationship management 

Understanding of training and development programmes (including apprenticeships) 

Experience of working in a consultative sales and target driven environment

Experience of creating and maintaining external networks and partnerships 

Proven experience and understanding of  sector to support specialist area
