We currently have a vacancy for a work based learning practitoner in Electrical Engineering. The main purpose of the role is to provide a range of services in support of workplace assessment on NVQ or similar programmes. As a Work Based practitoner you will be required to assess a number of different assessment areas. You will also enrol students on appropriate courses and provide coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities. Assessing candidate portfolios and presenting completed portfolios for internal verification, you will monitor the candidate’s progress towards their qualification and give them constructive feedback, helping them to build a portfolio of evidence.
Essential Requirements
Possess or be willing to work towards an assessor qualification
A professionally relevant qualification at minimum Level 3
Self-motivated, well organised and able to work independently using own initiative
Candidates must hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own transport
Computer Literate
Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
