Teacher’s Main Pay Scale / UPS
From February 2023, or as soon as possible, we require a highly skilled and talented Teacher of Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4 across all ability ranges.
Governors are looking to appoint a dynamic, forward thinking, innovative practitioner to join our rapidly improving maths faculty at the Abertillery Learning Community (ALC). The successful candidate will be a dynamic, inspirational and experienced classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge who is able to demonstrate sound leadership qualities.
They will have high expectations for students and staff alike with clear experience of the strategies needed to embed numeracy skills across all subject areas.
They should also be passionate about their own learning and development. The successful candidate will benefit from working with an experienced, supportive, inclusive team who work effectively together to bring about continuous improvement.
